Räucherwerk spricht einen der meist vernachlässigten Sinne unserer modernen Zeit an: den Geruchssinn. Es beeinflusst den menschlichen Geist, verändert unsere Wahrnehmung und lädt zu neuen Erfahrungen und Emotionen ein. Diese Eigenschaften inspirieren „Incense of Music“, diese alte Kunst mit Musik in einem synästhetischen Projekt zu verbinden und die Sinne zu aktivieren. Für Gäste, die besonders empfindlich auf Rauch reagieren, ist diese Veranstaltung nicht empfohlen.

Das 2019 gegründete Lyatoshynsky Trio besteht aus Preisträgern renommierter internationaler Wettbewerbe. Das Trio konzentriert sich auf bedeutende Werke der Kammermusik, insbesondere von ukrainischen Komponisten, und hat sich der Verbreitung unbekannter oder seltener gespielter Werke verschrieben. Ihr Repertoire reicht von zeitgenössischer Musik bis hin zu Werken von Borys Lyatoshynsky, Valentyn Sylvestrov, Myroslav Skoryk, Beethoven und Mendelssohn. Ihr Debüt im Wiener Konzerthaus mit der Weltpremiere von Myroslav Skoryks Klaviertrio war ein großer Erfolg. Seitdem tritt das Trio erfolgreich auf internationalen Bühnen in Ländern wie Frankreich, Österreich, Deutschland und Litauen auf, wobei es ukrainische Musik einem weltweiten Publikum näherbringt.

Ihr Debütalbum, das 2020 mit Klaviertrios von Borys Lyatoshynsky aufgenommen wurde, erhielt große Anerkennung und wurde unter anderem auf BBC Radio 3 ausgestrahlt. Das Trio sucht ständig nach neuen Aufführungstechniken und -formen und hat 2021 in Kiew das multimediale Projekt „Reflections. Lines of Fate“ durchgeführt, das klassische Musik mit 3D-Visualisierungen kombinierte und einen völlig neuen Blick auf die Geschichte ukrainischer Komponisten ermöglichte.

Incense appeals to one of the most neglected senses of our modern era: the sense of smell. It affects the human spirit, alters our perception, and invites new experiences and emotions. These qualities inspire “Incense of Music” to combine this ancient art with music in a synesthetic project that engages the senses. This event is not recommended for guests sensitive to smoke.

Founded in 2019, the Lyatoshynsky Trio is comprised of prize winners of prestigious international competitions. The trio focuses on significant works of chamber music, especially by Ukrainian composers, and is dedicated to promoting unknown or rarely performed pieces. Their repertoire spans contemporary music to works by Borys Lyatoshynsky, Valentyn Sylvestrov, Myroslav Skoryk, Beethoven, and Mendelssohn. Their debut at the Konzerthaus in Vienna, featuring the world premiere of Myroslav Skoryk’s Piano Trio, was a great success. Since then, the trio has performed on international stages in countries such as France, Austria, Germany, and Lithuania, bringing Ukrainian music to a global audience.

Their debut album, recorded in 2020, features piano trios by Borys Lyatoshynsky and received critical acclaim, with broadcasts on BBC Radio 3, among others. Constantly seeking new performance techniques and forms, the trio participated in the multimedia project “Reflections. Lines of Fate” in Kyiv in 2021, which combined classical music with 3D visualizations, offering a radically new perspective on the history of Ukrainian composers.
