Due to the limitations imposed by the post-pandemic policy on the world of clubs, the Cindytalk performance scheduled for May 30th 2024 at the OHM Sound Gallery will be specifically calibrated, artistically and technically, to the contingencies of the case. We will therefore not propose the show we had thought of, nor the complete lineup we had in mind. Consequently we have decided to organize a second event at PANDA platforma, a second Berlin step of our label’s Celebr.ActionXX, where it will be possible to attend to the “full band show”.
Cindytalk was formed in 1982 by Cinder and David Clancy , in 1983 they joined John Byrne, by this moment Cindytalk had gone through more changes and was preparing to play live for the first time. Cinder, Middleton and Ros were joined by Paul Jones, Andie Brown, Mark Stephenson and Simon Carmichael..nevertheless, it is Cinder who has primarily and personally kept the project alive, also by virtue of the many collaborations as and side projects such as:https Cocteau_Twins, This Mortal Coil, Ancient Methods, Massimo Pupillo from ZU,Robert_Hampson from the legendary band Loop and many others
For the occasion, the historical nucleus of the project (Cinder & Paul John) merge structurally with one of the most dynamic and representative projects of Italian radical electronics: Fire At Work.
Pioneer of the BreakCore & Broken Beats scene, he has released his music alongside some of the most representative names in radical, dark and experimental electronics such as: Venetian Snares, D’Arcangelo, Samuel Kerridge, Alvin Curran, Somatic Responses, Dadub, and many others.
