DE: „You shouldn’t know from it“ ist eine internationale Klezmer-Band, die traditionelle jüdische Tanzmusik spielt. Mit Sitz in Berlin (Europas heimlicher Hauptstadt des Klezmer und der jiddischen Musik) nimmt YSKFI uns mit auf eine emotionale Reise nach Jiddischland. Ihre Aufnahme, IT’S KLEZMER!, ist inspiriert von Klezmer-Musik aus der ersten Hälfte des 20. Jahrhunderts und Liedern, die bei Hochzeiten und Festen in osteuropäischen Shtetls gespielt wurden. Dies ist eine Band für die ganze Familie, die jeden dazu bringt, aufzustehen und zu tanzen!

Based in Berlin (Europe’s secret capital of Klezmer and Yiddish music), YSKFI takes us on an emotional journey into Yiddishland. Their recording, IT’S KLEZMER!, is inspired by Klezmer music from the first half of the 20th century and songs played at weddings and festivities in East European shtetls.
