A vibrant, full-format collaboration of two legends of the Belarusian scene Sveta “Benka” Ben (“Silver Wedding”) and Galya Chikiss, artists with very versatile creative backgrounds. In this new duo, Sveta is responsible for lyrics and songs, while Galya for arrangements and sound production.

Initially, the program was called “Mirror Ball” – like the first joint song of Benka and Chikiss, which started the whole story in the summer of 2021. The premiere of the album “Priyom!” took place in Berlin on December 16, 2022.

“This album might not have happened without the support of PANDA Platforma. It’s time to return to our home walls and sing both old and new songs. Together with the favorite audience”, – say Benka and Chikiss.

PANDAwomen Festival explores the female side of today’s music scene, whether on stage or behind the scenes. Now in its sixth consecutive year, the festival provides a space for musical experimentation and collaboration. This year’s PANDAwomen is dedicated to women who have had to leave their homes and refuge. Women flee, escaping from war, hunger, political or religious persecution, forced marriages, and sexual violence. There is no hope that the situation will change for the better soon, but there’s hope that women who have found their new home may finally speak up without hiding their faces.
