Snow Queen (Снежная Королева) / CraftTheatre “Art Baggage”
[ EN ] “The Snow Queen” is a touching paper story about Kai and Gerda, created by Craft Theater “Art Baggage” (Poland) together with the audience.
This winter tale made of paper will come to life as soon as the evil troll drops the mirror from his hands. We will craft speedy sleds that will take Kai far to the North, and together with Gerda, we will embark on a quest to find him. From the realm of the Snow Queen, where a swift reindeer will bring us, amidst eternal ice and vibrant northern lights, we will melt the ice in the boy’s heart and return home. And along the way, roses will bloom here and there.
The performance is in Russian, suitable for spectators from 4 to 104 years old.
Craft theater “Art-Baggage” was created by Nataliia Datsenko, a Ukrainian screenwriter, director, actor, costume designer, and decorator. The entire theater, including all its elements, fits into a small suitcase on wheels. “Art-Baggage” travels around the world, bringing favorite fairy tales to children and adults in Ukraine, Germany, Austria, France, Italy, Spain, Turkey, Israel, Georgia, Armenia, Belarus, Moldova, and Poland!
“Art-Baggage” is an interactive, contact, and chamber theater. All productions are co-created with the audience, making children and parents full participants in the action! They draw, cut, arrange decorations, and contribute to the storytelling, creating a unique atmosphere for each show with their own artistic touches, strokes, and textures. Through their involvement in the theatrical process, both children and adults gain their own artistic, directing, and creative experiences, which they then carry with them in their backpack of impressions and skills!

Зимняя сказка из бумаги оживёт, лишь только злой троль выронит из рук зеркало. Мы смастерим быстрые сани, которые унесут Кая далеко на Север и нам вместе с Гердой предстоит его разыскать. Из царства Снежной королевы, куда принесёт нас быстроногий олень, где вечный лёд и яркое северное сияние, мы, растопив лёд в сердце мальчика, вернёмся домой. А по дороге тут и там будут расцветать розы.

Крафт-театр “Арт-багаж” придумала Наталия Даценко. Она в нем сценарист, режиссер, актер, костюмер, декоратор, а сам театр умещается в небольшой чемоданчик на колесах. Театр «Артбагаж» путешествует по всему миру. Где только не смотрели дети и взрослые любимые сказки: в Украине, Германии, Австрии, Франции, Италии, Испании, Турции, Израиле, Грузии, Армении, Беларуси, Молдове, Польше!
Это интерактивный, контактный, камерный театр. Все постановки создаются с помощью гостей, более того – дети и родители полноправные участники действия! Они рисуют, вырезают, размещают декорации, рассказывают историю, наполняют ее уникальной для каждого показа атмосферой, штрихами, фактурами. Дети и взрослые, находясь внутри театрального процесса – получают собственный артистический, режиссерский, художественный опыт, который затем «берут» в свой рюкзак впечатлений и умений!
