«With a 33 year age difference our musical collaboration is forged through an improvisational coming together of our different orientations and the light-hearted idea of these titles reflects this combining. I first heard Nicola at a performance at “Club der polnischen Versager” (“Polish Losers Club”, Berlin) in 2015 and noticed his use of great rhythmic accuracy with marked attack together with an adept application of objects and devices to the guitar’s strings. Together, the development of our musical language has incorporated split-tones and multi-phonics, drones, noise of different colours and the use of various extended techniques. Furthermore, the creation of specific colours of drones, that can include lyricism, has been a special feature of the musical interplay», S. Rose.
Rose and Hein will play solo pieces in the first set. In the second set, the audience will hear their fantastic interaction in a duet.
