Nadishana trio is a world music project with the unique concept, exploring possibilities of ethnic woodwinds and metal melodic percussion in an unusual and innovative way, combining flutes and handpans with self constructed percussion set, 7-string bass and electronics.

An immersion into the magical sound of ancient and modern overtone instruments (kalyuka, khomus, kaval, handpans) in a fresh and surprising context of uncommon progressions and odd rhythms.

Nadishana is a multi-instrumentalist, composer and designer of experimental musical instruments. He’s an innovator in the field of contemporary ethnic music and one of the musicians who are shaping and developing the culture of melodic finger percussion (handpan, tongue pans).

The use of odd meters, polyphony, ‘split hand’ technique, progressive harmonies, complex articulation — are characteristic features of Nadishana’s original style. He elaborated the unique playing technique on each of his instruments and his own approach to advanced digital audio editing called “sound microsurgery”.

Peter Somos: Growing up in Budapest, he started working professionally at the age of 14. He is a summa cum laude graduate of the Codarts University of Music in Rotterdam. Peter has played with many well-known artists and performed at renowned festivals worldwide.

Roberto Badoglio: Recognized as one of the most innovative bassists of his generation, Roberto’s impressive resume includes studying with bass legends such as Matthew Garrison, Dominique Di Piazza, Hal Crook and Skuli Sverrisson.

After attending the Berklee College of Music, Roberto has influenced the jazz scenes of New York and Berlin and has played with renowned artists such as Steve Hunt, Virgil Donati, Joanne Brackeen, and many others.

He is currently also a member of the Italian funk band Nu Genea, Nitt, and the Aly Keita Trio while working on his third Solo album.

Nadishana ist ein Multiinstrumentalist, Komponist und Sounddesigner aus Sibirien.

Peter Somos absolvierte sein Studium an der Codarts University of Music Rotterdam mit „summa cum laude“.

Roberto Badoglio ist einer der interessantesten Fusion-Bassisten der neueren Generation.

Der Multiinstrumentalist und kreative Klangtüftler Nadishana lotet mit einem neuen musikalischen Konzept noch unentdeckte Möglichkeiten der Rhythmik und der Klänge der metallenen Handpans sowie von selbst konstruierten Instrumenten aus.

Als Alumnus des Berklee College of Music hat Roberto die Jazzszene von New York und Berlin geprägt und mit renommierten Künstlern wie Steve Hunt, Virgil Donati und Marco Minnemann gespielt. Derzeit ist er auch Mitglied der italienischen Funk-Band Nu Genea und des Aly Keita Trios.
