Igor Manko: 100 Views of Mount Karadag (2009-2013)
Born 1962 in Poltava, Ukraine. Lived in Kharkiv. Now based in Michendorf, Germany. Photographer and curator. Part of the Kharkiv School of Photography group.
Igor Manko: “All the works presented at this exhibition are from the 100 views of Mount Karadag project. I started working on it in 2009 and had to stop in 2014 after Crimea was annexed by Russia.
The Karadag is a mountain in Eastern Crimea, a landmark domineering the whole area.”
