The two experimental string instrument players Anaïs Tuerlinckx and Ulf Mengersen, together with percussionist Sofia Borges, will improvise free form soundscapes surrounded by the colorful artwork of video artist Linea.
Anaïs Tuerlinckx is a pianist, composer and sound artist from Brussels, now living in Berlin. Tending to a rather physical and expending way of playing, her performances are characterized by a decidedly harsh and noisy but at the same time elegiac, breezy and spacious sound.

Ulf Mengersen is a bass player who is active in the fields of experimental, improvised and contemporary music. On the double bass he is producing a huge variety of sounds using the bow, his fingers and other materials, always searching for new colors. Since he finished his studies at the Franz Liszt Hochschule Weimar in 2007, he is based in Berlin and part of the European experimental music scene.

Sofia Borges is a percussionist, composer and improviser who has gained prominence through a wide range of international projects. As an improviser, Borges is active in the Berlin scene and has toured throughout Europe for solo performances and collaborations with the most prominent musicians in the field, receiving critical praise for her performances. She performs using a distinguished sound palette that constantly evolves but includes a selection of percussion instruments complemented by a wide variety of everyday objects, tools, hardware, music boxes and toys, with which she engulfs the audience in the most diverse and unexpected sonic landscapes.

Linea is a video artist who experiments with analogue techniques, glitch art and obsolete machines. She collaborates with musicians to create audio-visual experiences, both live and in a music video format. Her works are often interactive, improvised and centered on feedback loops and optical effects. You may know her work from the club scene in the series „Unorthodox” (2020) where she performed.
