Today is the seventh month of war on the territory of Ukraine, genocide is taking place on our land. Executioners are trying to destroy our nation and culture. But…
Language is alive as long as it speaks of love. Culture is alive as long as it spreads.
Freedom is alive as long as one fights. And we fight and will stand up for our love, rich Ukrainian culture and freedom at a time when our brave warriors defend our land.
In our play, we show the war as we saw it there in Ukraine and as we see it in the news when we are already safe. We bring up the theme of relationships between relatives, physical and moral violence, the loss of home and the death of loved ones. We use Ukrainian songs, our voice, and of course our feelings in this musical-plastic performance.
