GRGUR SAVIC ~ PITCH SHIFTING, also known as PITCH SHIFTING LAB (duo) & PITCH SHIFTING GROUP (from trio formations), is a collaborative audio-visual performance group founded by musician Grgur Savic and visual artist Sanja Star that was conceived in 2019 by Grgur Savic. Savic’s approach to sound research and saxophone practice, and Star’s experience with graphic design and 3D art created the space for further exploration. Pitch Shifting work with audio-visual compositions and improvised visual & music performance pieces to create unique and immersive environments which are built to challenge and inspire the viewer. Pitch Shifting are also known for collaborating with other artists, mostly musicians with experimental approach.
